As a participant in the Surfing Florida Museum’s (SFM) 3rd Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser, you will not only enjoy the day on the beautiful Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course with old and new friends, but breakfast, lunch and awards as well. You will also be contributing to the ongoing mission of the Surfing Florida Museum!
Since 2008, the Palm Beach County Surfing History Project has produced dozens of historical surfing exhibits throughout the region. The Surfing Florida Museum has been actively advocating to preserve, share and educate communities and the public on the deep history of surfing in Florida with an emphasis on Palm Beach County. Our goal has been to partner with an organization to provide a permanent, destination attraction with a museum-quality exhibition for our broad range, unique collection of historic surfboards, memorabilia, photos, film, library, recorded oral histories and an extensive archive in order to reach residents and visitors across our state. Nothing would have been possible without the generosity of supporters like you! Participation and support of the Golf Tournament creates a unique and fun opportunity for you to play an active role in ensuring the successful future of the SFM.
