It was actually illegal to surf anywhere in Palm Beach back in the 1960’s.  In fact, the Town of Palm Beach Shores made it illegal to even possess a surfboard in the Town limits.  This and many other stories about illegal surfing in Palm Beach County, and how we won the fight to make surfing legal again,  are the subject of this enlightening event at the Surfing Florida Museum.
